L'arte ti fa gli auguri! – Free museum entry in Italy on your birthday The above phrase means “Art is congratulating you!” or in other words, wishing you a happy birthday! All throughout 2011, as part 150th anniversary celebration of the Unification of Italy, the MIBAC (Ministry of National Culture and Heritage) will offer EU citizens the chance to visit free of charge Italian State museums and archaeological sites on the day of their birthday. If your birthday happens to fall when the museum is closed, it will be honored on the following day. You are also allowed complimentary admission for a guest. Therefore, what better way to spend your birthday than inside one of the many famous Italian museums! |

Would surely plan to visit a state-run museum on my 03 December birthday. Will be 25 on that day and I am still looking for a new boyfriend hope to meet my prince somewhere in a museum - -that would be great, really!
Two years a go, I visited Italy together with my boyfriend and we had a blast of a holiday.
That rally keeps me on thinking of returning back to Italy maybe before the year ends and see what I missed then.
By the way, that boyfriend is already my husband right now. Thanks for this good announcement.
