I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving which translates into Buona Festa del Ringraziamento in Italian. It is not technically a holiday in Italy, which is a shame, since it is my favorite holiday - a day to give thanks for all your blessings. Another Italian saying is Buon Tacchino which means Happy Turkey! And of course, Italians will customarily say Buon Appetito right before beginning to eat their meal. I hope everyone has a great day!

Yes, I agree with you, we have forgotten our roots, and that is part of the reason we are in this economic mess.

However, it is no more politically correct to give thanks to God as the source of these blessings. America has already forgotten its roots and we are going to regret that later.
