Rassegna del Chianti Classico, Wine Festival, Tuscany

For a great little Chianti Wine Festival, every September, a little town south of Florence, Tuscany, called Greve in Chianti holds a wine festival in the main square.  For approx 10 euros, you can purchase a glass which allows you to taste about 8-10 different wines.  The wines are all from the local producers and wineries of the "Black Rooser" wine, or Chianti.  There are also several related events organized such as art exhibitions and concerts and other displays of food such as olive oil, etc.

Schedule for 2011

Thursday 8th from 5 pm to 9 pm

Friday 9th from 11am to 9 pm

Saturday 10th from 11am to 7pm

Sunday 11th from 11am to 9 pm
