The Ninth Annual Feast of Little Italy Returns to Abacoa Town Center - - “A Feast for the Family”
November 4th – November 6th, 2011

(July 18, 2011) Jupiter, FL - The Feast of Little Italy announced today the dates to return to Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter, FL on November 4, 5 and 6, 2011. The Feast of Little Italy is a three-day cultural celebration with great Italian food, live entertainment, a children’s area with rides and games, Italian specialty items and so much more. The Feast is a traditional street festival and has grown to be the largest Italian Festival in the state.
This year’s Feast will be one for the senses and for all generations to enjoy. There will be the familiar Italian traditions; and the opportunity to create new family memories too. In its ninth year, the Feast will include many favorite activities such as: the Sorrento Cheese La Cuccina Cooking Pavilion, Banfi wine seminars, Bocce Ball tournaments and some new additions as well. The focus this year will be on the Arts and contributions made by Italy to the world of Art.
The Old Italian saying, “Mangiare, mangiare mangiare”, will be an understatement with over 140 vendors for fabulous Italian food and Italian gifts.Vendors will line the street as far as the eye can see! Many Italian favorites will be served, just like Grandma used to make. Festival goers can stroll through the streets and enjoy vendors showcasing jewelry, clothing, art, cookware, games and more! The fun-filled weekend will have something for everyone and for all ages.
“It's about celebrating our heritage and all the great contributions of Italians and Italian–Americans; it’s about family and friends coming together, it’s about passion, passion for everything and everyone we love. The great thing is it doesn’t matter if you’re Italian or not, everyone gets to be Italian this weekend,” said Event Producer Jerry Somma.
Feast Schedule: Friday, November 4, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Admissions $5.00 and children 12 and under are free.
