This year will be the 15th annual Tampa Italian Festival in the historical Ybor City District. This is the best Italian festival in the State of Florida, which features all of the best food and drink from the best Italian restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, live entertainment with singers, dancers, family activities, Catholic mass, face painters, amusement rides, grape stomping, kids area, etc.
The proceeds are $5 and will benefit the Restoration Fund to the beautiful Italian Club Building (L'Unione Italiana - founded in 1894) of Tampa. The building, a national historic landmark, is located at

The festival actually spans a few days and will include
Thursday, March 29 - Wines of Italy
Friday, March 30 - Cinema Italiano
Saturday, March 31 - Bocce Ball Invitational Tournament, Ybor City Fresh Market, Italian Idol competition
One of the great things about the festival is that you can sample food from various Italian restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area. Even though this listing is from last year, it generally remains the same.
