Italy versus Costa Rica - Group D Match World Cup 2014

Italy will play the surprising Costa Rica team on Friday, June 20th at Recife, the fifth largest metropolitan area of Brazil with a population of close to 4 million.  It sits on the northern part of the country on the eastern-most tip of the continent.  The city is located in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, home to 3 professional soccer teams.  The fans in this area are very passionate and rabid about their soccer.  It will provide great atmosphere for the Italy-Costa Rica game.

Even though the teams each play in their own statdium, this new one was constructed to come up to World Cup standards.  The facilities include restaurants, shopping and movies.  It is supposed to provide economic benefit to the area.

The game will start at 12:00 Noon Eastern / 9AM Pacific Time / 6PM Rome
