Baked Ziti

1 1/2 pounds Italian sausage links
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 jar or can (16 ounces) boiled onions, drained, cut in half
32 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
1 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated
1 pound ziti or other long tube pasta

Preheat oven to 350°. In a heavy skillet, brown sausage until well done;
remove to paper towels to drain and drain grease from skillet. Slice sausage
links into 1/2-inch slices, then put back into the skillet. Add mushrooms,
onions and spaghetti sauce. Cover and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes,
stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook pasta until just tender; drain. Put half of the ziti in
13x9x2-inch baking pan. Top with mozzarella cheese, half of sauce, then
remaining ziti and remaining sauce.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
